Guwahati, January 28: The 22nd edition of Intertiol Guwahati Trade Fair (IGTF’) is beginning from January 29 and will continue till February 15, 2015 at Maniram Dewan Trade Centre near Balaji Temple, Bethkuchi.
Addressing a press conference held here on Wednesday, Industries and Trade Fair Association of Assam, vice president Rajesh Das said, "Fair will be iugurated on January 29 at 4pm by Kalraj Mishra, Union Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. The function will also be attended by Syed Muazzem Ali, Bangladesh High Commissioner to India, Govindas Konthoujam, Minister of Industries and Commerce, Manipur and Ravindrath, CMD, NSJC."
Keeping in consonce with its theme “Make in India and Stride like a Lion”, ITFAA has taken the initiative to showcase the Make in India products in the 22nd Intertiol Guwahati Trade Fair 2015. Rajasthan will be the focus state along with an exclusive pavilion which will showcase rich products and food items from the state. The other states which will display products in the fair arc Kartaka, West Bengal, Orissa, Hyderabad and Northeastern states.
"For the first time in the history of Northeast India an Intertiol Food Festival will be held at 22nd IGTF," Das added.
