22nd triennial conference of CPI(M) Tinsukia unit concludes

Doomdooma, Dec 18: The two-day long 22nd triennial conference of the Tinsukia district committee of Communist Party of India (Marxist) which began on Sunday, concluded after the delegate session at Doomdooma Marwari Panchayati Bhavan on Monday.
Altogether 94 delegates from different parts of the district who attended the conference took part in the discussion on the Secretarial Report that was read out by the secretary, Madan Mohan Chaudhury on Sunday evening. A number of resolutions on education, peasants, small tea growers, tea labourers, women, flood and erosion, superstition and railway were adopted in the meeting. A 15-member new district committee was also elected for 2017-20 with Dro Charingia Phukan as secretary.
