25 injured as bus turns turtle in Bokajan

BOKAJAN, March 10: At least 25 passengers were injured after a night bus plying on NH 39 turned turtle at Sarhiajan area of Bokajan subdivision early Friday morning.
As reported, the bus bearing registration number AS-02-AC-2014 was heading towards Dimapur from Morigaon when the incident happened. The injured were rushed to Bokajan Civil Hospital for medical observations. Altogether 25 passengers were reported injured and the condition of 10 is said to be critical while others received minor injuries.
The driver and the handyman of the bus were allegedly under the influence of alcohol and they fled the spot after the incident.
