2561th Buddha Purnima preparations underway

Dibrugarh, May 5: Elaborate arrangements are being done for celebrating the 2561th Buddha Purnima here at Dibrugarh District Buddha Vishar, Grahambazar on May 10. Founder Secretary General Raj Kumar Siddhartha, Education and Welfare Mission, Rev. Sumedhanda Bhikshu told the sentinel that the day long celebration would mark the hoisting of World Buddhist Flag, Buddha Dharma and Sangha Vanda, Mangalacharan, Buddha worship, Panchaseela administration to Dayakas, prayer for world peace, Shanghada to Buddhist Monks and religious discourse. In the evening, a special prayer for world peace will be held, Rev. S. Bhikshu stated.
