257 kg canbis and pressing machine recovered

UDALGURI, Dec 11: A ka party of border out post R/pam of 61 bn SSB launched a special operation under the command of SI GD Madan Lal and party in Boha forest area.

The ka party saw some movement in the forest area and reached the spot to catch the smugglers. But they escaped by taking the advantage of the thick forest and darkness. The party searched the whole area and recovered 257 kg of canbis and a pressing machine for canbis on the spot. The total value of the 257 kg canbis is Rs 17,99,000 and the pressing machine is worth Rs 20,000.

All the recovered canbis and the machine were handed over to the Kalaktang Police Station in the West Kameng district of Aruchal Pradesh. This was stated by Bipin Kr Katara, the assistant commandant of 61 bn SSB Bhairabkunda.
