26-hour Palam at Srimanta Sankardev Xatra

UDALGURI, April 27: The Srimanta Sankardev Xatra, Harisinga is going to organize a 26-hour Palam beginning from April 29. The programme will begin with jagaran to be conducted by ren Das, the amgharia of Srimanta Sankardev Xatra, Harisinga and followed by am prasanga. Harekrish Mahanta, the Xatradhikar of Barangajuli Xatra will conduct the baptism ceremony.

 Nripen Das, the president, Subhas Ojha, the general secretary of Xatra Parichala Samiti, Aniruddha Bharali, the president and Kandarpa Pathak, the general secretary of Utsav Parvan Udjapan Upa Samiti, have appealed the people to make this programme a success. The Palam will conclude on May 1.
