27 members of AASU's Demow unit resign

DEMOW, September 21: The annual convention of All Assam Students’ Union (AASU), Demow Regiol Committee was held at the Sukanpukhuri High Medium School recently where the new committee of AASU Demow Regiol Committee was formed. But the next day 27 working members of Demow Regiol Committee resigned claiming that they were not satisfied with the new committee.
The resigned members handed over their resigtion letters to the Demow Regiol Committee and in the meantime the Demow Regiol Committee has sent the resigtion letters to Sivasagar subdivision committee of All Assam Students’ Union (AASU). The members who resigned are Humen Gogoi, Lakhindan Tai, Anshuman Gogoi, Deb Kumar Barbarua, Achyut Gogoi, Samir Rajput, Debojit Gogoi, Dipu Phukan, Saytabrat Gogoi, Ritupan Gogoi, Dulu Changmai, Pallab Barua, Jyotimoy Gogoi, Lakhya Jyoti Dutta, Rahul Barua, Bidyut Barua, Santanu Changmai, Plabon Buragohain, Punda Phukan, Sudipta Gogoi, Sajid Ahmed, Titu Borah, Ruhit Dehingia, Mab Jyoti Phukan, Apurba Barua and Makh Jyoti Barua.
