29th Annual General Meeting of SBI to be held

Guwahati, June 9: The 29th Annual General Meeting of State Bank of India Officers’ Association (North East Circle) will be held on June 11, 2017 at Guwahati Medical College Auditorium, Bhangagarh which will be presided over by the Circle President. The daylong programme of the association with a strength of more than 3500 officers of North East Circle will be kick started with a solidarity march from the Bhangagarh office of the Association to the meeting venue followed by hoisting of Association flag by the President of the Circle Association at 10 am. The meeting will be iugurated by Comrade Y Sudarshan, the General Secretary of the All India State Bank of India Officers’ Federation, and the Chief General Mager P.V.S.L.N. Murty, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. The other lumiries who have consented to enlighten the assembly are, Com. D.T. Franco Rajendra Dev, General Secretary of All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC) cum President of All India State Bank Officers’ Federation and Tapan Chandra Sarma, Commissioner of Labour and Registrar of Trade Union, Government of Assam as guests of honour. Com. Pradip Kumar Baishya, General Secretary, State Bank of India Staff Association, North East Circle, Bhupen Kalita, General Secretary, State Bank of India Pensioners’ Association and Com. Taher Ahmed, President, AIBOC Assam State Unit are the other prominent persolities who will grace the occasion as special invitees.

In the Business Session, Com. Rupam Roy, General Secretary, SBIOA (NE Circle) will submit his secretarial report before the house for detailed discussion and deliberation by the memberships.This was stated in a press release.
