3 die under mysterious circumstances

ITAGAR, June 22: Three persons lost their lives on Sunday at Pachin colony while attempting to clean a well. The deceased have been identified as Zakir Hussain (20), Arul Islam (21), and Rashidul Islam (20) of Phukon Doloni, Laluk, Assam, police said here today. The incident occurred at around 3 pm when the trio was attempting to clean a 30 to 40 feet deep well at the residence of one Rake Teli. The cause of death has not been ascertained till filing of this report, but it is being speculated that the trio died of suffocation.
