3 houses gutted in Longding

Itagar, Sept 5: Three houses were completely burnt down while several others affected in a fire that broke out on Sunday at Kanubariin in Aruchal Pradesh’s Longding district. Although the fire caused huge loss of household property, no casualty has been reported, official sources from Kanubari informed today.  A relief team headed by ADC in charge N Borang accompanied by other officers visited the spot to take stock of the properties lost and met the fire victims.  The local administration handed over an amount of Rs.10000 each being immediate relief to the fire victims. Besides, 30 pieces of CGI sheets were distributed to affected family from MLALAD, the sources added.
