Shillong, Feb 7: Shillong South Constituency will literally witness a fight of three old BJP men all taking against the official BJP nominee. Sanbor Shullai is the official nominee of the BJP while the other contenders are BJP members who defected after losing out in the list of candidates. One is Mas Chaudhury who left the Congress and joined the BJP in July 2017,before he jumped ship again after being denied party ticket. He joined the Congress on February 5 and was immediately given party ticket. Another is Sounder S Cajee who joined the BJP on the very same day of July 2017 with a hope to get party ticket. He was also denied and soon joined the NPP and was given a party ticket. Similarly, Vikash Gupta, an old hand in the BJP organizatiol structure, jumped to the tiolist Congress Party (NCP) and was awarded with a ticket.
