3 State players in FIDE rating

GUWAHATI, Aug 1: Three players from P C Borooah Academy- Nihad Islam Hazarika, Arkaprabho Rajkonwar and Shubhay Agarwal becomes the latest Intertiol Rated player from Assam. According to new FIDE Rating list published by world Chess Federation on today Nihad got 1143 rating points and Arkapravo got 1390 rating points while Shubhay got 1029 rating points. Nihad, Arkapravo and Shubhay have been awarded rating on the basis of their performances in 1st NF Railway North East Open FIDE Rating Chess Tourment and GTC Chess Classic meet which were held recently in the city.
