3-year-old crushed to death by school van

Batadrava, March 9:  A three-year old girl was run over by a private school van of Gyandeep Jatiya Vidyalaya, Batamari bearing registration no. AS 02 F 4001, outside her house at Batamari under Batadrava police Station on Thursday morning.

The child was then taken to Dhing FRU in the same van but the doctors declared her brought dead. The deceased child has been identified as Taheera Ahmed, daughter of Sahabuddin of Batamari village. Meanwhile, Batadrava Police sent the body to gaon BP Civil Hospital for postmortem. The police also seized the school van and  detained the driver.
