30th Annual Bhagwat Sanmilan concludes

Batadrava, Feb 5: The 30th Annual Bhagwat Sanmilan of Asom Mahapuruxia Satra Samaj, which got under way from Saturday at the Barchila Raxx Mandir premises, concluded on Sunday with tremendous religious fervour.

The concluding day’s programme started with cleanliness drive followed by pratah prasang and religious flag hoisting. After that, Bhagwat excursion and an attractive cultural procession was taken out which was flagged off by Devanda Devgoswami, president of Asom Mahapuruxia Satra Samaj. Thousands of devotees, representatives and local people participated in the rally.

A religious meet was also held where many dignitaries took part. The two-day long Sanmilan ended with a colourful Xattriya programme held at night. Earlier on Saturday, the Sanmilan formally got under way with pratah prasang. Representatives session, souvenir release and dignitaries meet were also held on that day.
