3,500 suspect tiols included in beneficiary list of NFSA

MORIGAON, February 2: Tension prevailed in the home district of the State Food and Civil Supply minister Dr jrul Islam for alleged enlisting of the mes of 3,500 suspected tiols in the government list of beneficiaries under the tiol Food Security Act (NFSA). According to sources, the Foreigners Tribul of Morigaon has directed the police department to take action against the 3,500 suspected tiols after identifying them. But the department allegedly did not take steps for deportation of the suspected tiols.

On the other hand, the activists of Morigon district Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) led by district president Badan Sarma has demanded cancellation of their mes immediately from the list and a high-levelĀ  enquiry into this. The organization questioned as to how the mes of 3,500 suspected tiols could be included in the list of beneficiaries under NFSA even after the Foreigners Tribul had identified them as foreign tiols? The district administration has already started cancellation of the mes of suspected tiols from the list of beneficiaries.
