3rd district level industrial exhibition held

SHILLONG, April 20: The office of the General  Mager, District Commerce and Industries Centre (DCIC) South West Khasi Hills district has organized a two-day District Level Industrial Exhibition starting today at Mawkyrwat  Parking Lot near Mawkyrwat  Market wherein R Lyngdoh, Deputy Commissioner, South West Khasi Hills district was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion Lyngdoh said that these types of exhibitions serves as a platform wherein entrepreneurs can showcase their talents and market their goods and at the same time it provides as a forum wherein artisans from various districts could share their views and ideas in order to promote and market their goods and also helps generate their income and upliftment of the economy. About 30 stalls comprising of artisans of various districts participated in the exhibition.
