4 Bangladeshi tiols held

SHILLONG, Feb 9: The BSF troops deployed at Bagli, South West Khasi Hills district, Meghalaya in a special ambush, apprehended four Bangladeshi tiols while they were infiltrating from Bangladesh into Indian Territory. They were identified as Pollas Sangma (25), Sajol Sangma (22) Roma Sangma (30) and Krishon Sangma. All Bangladeshi tiols are residents of Ramthpur in Netrako district of Bangladesh. Apprehended persons revealed that they crossed the border in search of labour job in coal mines in Meghalaya. The apprehended Bangladeshi tiols were handed over back to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) as goodwill gesture and following Co-ordited Border Magement Plan (CBMP) between both the tions. In another incident, the BSF troops deployed at Lyngkhat, East Khasi Hills district, Meghalaya in a special drive, seized 13 cattle worth Rs. 2, 08,000 while being smuggled out to Bangladesh from India.
