4 Corps GoC calls on Governor Mishra

Itagar, Dec 14: General Officer Commanding (GoC) of Dimapur-based 4 Corps of the Indian Army Lt General A S Bedi called on Aruchal Pradesh Governor Brig (Retd) Dr B D Mishra at Raj Bhawan here on Thursday and discussed the border security issues concerning the State. During the meeting, the Governor appreciated the alertness of the troops of 4 Corps, a report from the PRO said. Mishra expressed confidence over the security apparatus for maintaining peace and tranquility at all cost. The GoC informed the Governor that the armed forces are reaching out to the people and have cordial relationship with them through awareness campaigns, health camps and educatiol initiatives, the report added.
