5 arrested in bank robbery case

Biswath Chariali, May 26: Five youths mely Prashanta Doley (30), Moon Khound (22), Ashis Tanti (20), Dayal Basumatari (26) and Bipul th (30) were arrested by Gohpur police on Thursday from different parts of Gohpur sub-division in Biswath district in connection with the bank robbery that had taken place in the Dufflagarh branch of Asam Gramin Vikash Bank on Wednesday. According to Tilak Das, SDPO, Gohpur, four other suspects are absconding.
