5 officials arrested in coal syndicate case

Guwahati, April 17: The CID on Tuesday arrested five officers in connection with coal syndicate by calling them to its headquarters in the city after a long time. The arrested officers are Katigara CO Manjur Elahi Borbhuyan, Silchar MVI Biswajit Bhattacherjee, and tax officials Babul Mandal,  Sajal Das and Anjan Jyoti Bora.
