50-hour demonstration staged by Assam Majuri Shramik Union

JORHAT, June 11: Activists of the Assam Majuri Shramik Union staged a 50-hour demonstration in front of the Jorhat DC office on Wednesday. They are demanding increase of daily wages of tea garden labourers. Joined by about hundred workers, the Assam Majuri Sramik Union has also demanded provident fund and ration for tea garden workers.
