506th Chilarai Divas celebrated

Boko, Feb 23: Boko Anchalik Koch-Rajbongshi Youth-Students’ Union and other Koch-Rajbongshi organizations celebrated the 506th Chilarai Divas at Kahibama village, Boko. On this occasion, Bishnu Ram Das, president of Boko Anchalik Koch-Rajbongshi Youth- Students’ Union, presided over the meeting. He said, “If the government does not grant ST status to the Koch Rajbongshi community by February 27, then they will not allow any election campaign in the Koch Rajbongshi-inhabited areas.” Former minister Dr Kamala Kalita, former MLA Jyoti Prasad Das, Pradip Kumar Bhuyan, officer-in-charge, Boko Police Station, Aditya Rabha, executive member of RHAC, Chandra Sinha Talukdar, president, All Assam Koch- Rajbongshi Sanmilani, DFO Bhabesh Das and many others were present.
