54 teachers felicitated on 56th Teachers' Day

Tezpur, Sept 5: Teachers’ Day was celebrated in Tezpur with enthusiasm on Tuesday. Many functions were organized in schools and colleges of Tezpur and glowing tributes were paid to the former President of India, S Radhakrishn on his birth anniversary. On the occasion of the 56th Teachers’ Day, a felicitation programme was organized by the district administration of Sonitpur at the District Library to felicitate 54 teachers of various schools of Sonitpur district in recognition of their valuable services to the society as educators of outstanding merit.  The programme was graced by teachers from various schools of Sonitpur district, as well as Rajen Borthakur, chairman of Assam Textbook Publication Corporation, Parag Kakati, ADC, Sonitpur and others.
