54th Raising Day celebrated by Headquarters 101

SHILLONG, April 22: The 54th raising day of headquarters 101 area was celebrated with traditiol military elan and fervour on Saturday. Headquarters 101 area was raised in 1963 as headquarters 101 communication zone, primarily for provision of logistic support to field formations which had moved to the northeast region in the wake of the Chinese aggression in 1962, stated a press release.
