5th biennial conference of Dessangmukh Press Club

GAURISAGAR, Oct 18: Preparations  are afoot to celebrate the 5th  biennial  conference of Dessangmukh Press Club(DPC) scheduled to be held  on October 21 at the premises of Ga Silpi Bikram Singh Yein Suwarani Bhavan, Dessangmukh. The day-long programme will start with hoisting of flag by Kumar Abhijit Duarah, president, Dessangmukh Press Club, followed by smriti tarpan to be performed by Monuj Kumar Gogoi. The plantation of  saplings  will be done by Bidya Bordoloi,  Divisiol Forest Officer (DFO), Sivasagar Division. Later, Sivasagar district-level drawing competition will be held. Thereafter an open session will be held under the chairmanship of Kumar Abhijit Duarah. Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner rayan Melung Konwer will iugurate it.

In the function, the DPC souvenir di will be unveiled by noted educationist and former Axam Xahitya Xabha chief secretary  hendra Padun.
