5th foundation day of PJACBM to be held in Baksa

KOKRAJHAR, March 28: The People’s Joint Action Committee for Bodoland Movement (PJACBM) has decided to observe its 5th foundation day-cum-general assembly with a two-day programme on March 30 and March 31 at North Kamrup Betabari ME School play ground, Simla in Baksa district. The chief convener of the PJACBM, Jebra Ram Mashahary, at a press meet held in  Kokrajhar on Monday said that the foundation stone of Hmong Boro Intertiol Culture Centre would be laid by Zong Khang Yang, president of the US Hmong Boro Association, Minnesota, t USA. He said Yang would be present during the two-day programme as chief guest. He also said that DID season-5 winner- Pranita Swargiary would also be felicitated during the foundation day celebration. He urged all sections of people and political and apolitical leaders to participate in the convention. He also said a strong resolution would be taken for the Bodoland demand in the meeting where over 50,000 people are expected to participate.
