6.5 kg tumor removed from stomach

DOOMDOOMA, Oct 15:  Performing a rare surgery, doctors removed nearly 6.5 kg tumor from the stomach of a patient at Doomdooma Polyclinic and Nursing Home here. According to information available here, a patient who got herself admitted in the said nursing home a few days back with severe stomach pain and a swollen stomach was examined by   Dr P. J. Deka, Director of the Nursing Home.  Subsequently after conducting a series of tests the tumor could be detected. A team of doctors comprising Dr S K Shyam and Dr Kalyan Sharma and Dr P. J. Deka successfully carried out the surgery and removed the tumor.
