6 injured in road mishaps

SHILLONG, Dec 10: Three persons were injured when the truck they were travelling turned turtle after it hit a truck parked on the side of the road at Umran Diary under Umsning Block in Ri Bhoi on Wednesday. The truck was heading towards Guwahati from Lumshnong. The victims Balarian Thangkhiew (26), Ram Bahadur Vishnu Karma (37) and Suraj Chetri (24) were rushed to Umsning CHC. In another incident, a driver ML06 – 6051 along with two passengers sustained injuries when the vehicle they were travelling overturned after it skidded at Wah Blei under Riangdo Block in West Khasi Hills district. The victims identified as Kyrshan Shusiang (26), William Ryniaw (32) and Victor Ryniaw (30).
