61 Bn SSB organizes free medical camp

UDALGURI, Oct 15: The 61 battalion SSB Bhairabkunda organized a free medical check-up camp at Sikaridanga village. A veteriry camp was also organized simultaneously. Dr. Sanjay Das, Commandant (Medical) provided medical treatment to the needy villagers of the area. Altogether 392 people were treated and provided with free medicines. Dr. S N Singh, the assistant commandant (Veteriry), provided treatment to the 394 domestic animals and provided medicines. These camps were organized under the vigil of IS Pame, the Commandant in-charge of the battalion.

 The representatives of 4 Season Nutrition Wellness Centre also checked the ratio of body and muscle of the villagers. This was stated in a release by Santosh Kumar, the Deputy Commandant of 61 battalion SSB.
