61st Railway Week of Tinsukia Railway Division observed

TINSUKIA, April 20: The valedictory programme of the 61st Railway Week of Tinsukia Railway Division was held on Wednesday at the Railway Institute here with presentation of individual and group awards, besides hoisting impressive cultural programme by the children of Railway staff. In his speech as chief guest, Annet Daulat, DRM Tinsukia appreciated the contribution of the divisiol workforce in taking Tinsukia DRM division to new heights. The programme witnessed presentation of 249 individual awards, 41 group awards and 11 scheme awards for outstanding works in their respective fields during the current fincial year. Cumulatively, the Tinsukia division of NFR bagged Overall Efficiency Shield 2015-16 for second consecutive terms, besides bagging eight other shields in addition to the most coveted Safety Shield. Among those who received GM Awards were Gautam Baruah, Nitai Roy, Pradip Kumar Adhikari, Priya Ranjan Kumar, Pran Jyoti Sepati, Abhijit Gogoi, Basanta Chetia,, Balen Taye, Sudipta Ghosh, Kartik Acharjee, Pradip Gogoi, Bikash Gogoi, Rakhal Chandra Das and in group, D Das, H. Sonowal, S. Banerjee, S. Sarkar, all from Tech-I/CBS/DBWS.
