6th Rangsi Sarpo Film award function on March 18

HAMREN, March 16: The  6th  Rangsi Sarpo Film Award function for the year 2017 will be held on March 18 at Joysing Terang (Doloi) Auditorium Hall, Diphu.  Bidyasing Rongpi, EM, KAAC for Art and Culture, who is also the president of Karbi Flim Society (KFS) said, “This is the 6th edition of the Rangsi Sarpo Film Awards constituted by the Department of Culture Affairs with an objective to promote the art of films in the district and to give recognition in the field. Apart from the previous 21 categories, the organizers have introduced several new categories in this year including Best Folk artist and lifetime achievement award.”
