Itagar, Nov 3: A 10-district motorcycle tour by seven US tiols was flagged off here on Thursday. The seven are on a trip across two Himalayan Indian States – Uttarakhand and Aruchal Pradesh – to know more about tribal cultures, flora and fau.
Rockwel Charles Anthony, a scholar, said they wanted to explore Aruchal Pradesh after reading about the pristine beauty of India’s land of the rising sun. Som Wangchu, a Nepali tourist accompanying the group, said tourism will boom once the roads in the State are completed. Gelek Rapsel, proprietor of Itagar-based Jambling Tours and Travels flagged off the bikers and said they will first visit Ziro and move to Koloriang, Daporijo, Aalo, Medhuka and Tuting. After Tuting, the bikers will ride to Tawang via Bhalukpong.  “Arrangements have been made to ensure they get the best of ethnic food, tradition and culture besides tural beauty,” he said.
