89th birth anniversary of Dr Bhupen Hazarika celebrated

Bongaigaon, September 7: A two-day programme has been organized by the Dr Bhupen Hazarika Cultural Trust and Bongaigaon College to observe the 89th birth anniversary of  Bhupen Hazarika. The programme started on Monday with Bhupendra Sangeet competition which was iugurated by Dr Itesh Bardoloi, eminent doctor of Bongaigaon. Total 29 participants took part in this competition.

After that the book fair and exhibition was iugurated by Phani Bhusan Choudhury, MLA of Bongaigaon. A discussion on Bhupen Hazarika’s music was held here which was iugurated by Kumar Sanjit Krish, SP, Bongaigaon where Dipanka Kumar th, president of AASU and Dr Gobinda Das, eminent doctor will attend.
