9 houses gutted in Tinsukia

TINSUKIA, Feb 20: Nine houses were gutted in a major fire at Ram Krish gar under Tinsukia Police station on Tuesday evening here. According to sources due to electrical short circuit fire broke out at Silath Sarmah’s katcha house. The fire extended to the nearby houses immediately and gutted nine houses. Property worth Rs 10 lakhs was damaged in the fire.
