GUWAHATI, June 28. “Classical music evokes the seven energy centres in human body, and the low frequency used by the old classical instruments changes the chaotic atmosphere to a peaceful one,” said SK Seth, father of Master Arul Seth, a classical music artiste and Junior Indian Idol. He was speaking at a press meet organized by BSNL Assam Circle in lieu with “Pancham Smaran” , a programme organized at Rabindra Bhawan on June 27. Master Arul and his father Guru S.K Seth created a beautiful environment, through some soulful music presentation during the meet. S.K Seth said, “It’s a kind of meditative music which needs no language to learn, and this is why we find that most of our classical masters are now found outside the country, singing and earning praises all over the world. This kind of music develops the sense of brotherhood, and can be used as a therapy to deal with the increasing frustration and depression in the human beings,” he added.
