AACWA urges government for transparency

 Our Correspondent

Itagar, Feb 26: The All Aruchal Contractor’s Welfare Association (AACWA) said that the ruling BJP government in the state should learn a lesson from the 60-page note left behind by former Chief Minister Kalikho Pul before he committed suicide. Urging the government to be transparent in allocating fund for schemes under the State Annual Development Agenda (SADA), the AACWA alleged that most of the schemes in the last two years were approved for areas of individuals, who had good relationships with ministers and MLAs. Further, the contractors’ association urged the government to give priority to education, health road and employment generation in the coming budget. The Association also urged the government to give priority to marketing horticultural products and bridge linkage between small scale farmers and multi-tiol companies for the economic benefit of local farmers.
