AAGSU delegate meeting held in Duliajan

DULIAJAN, Feb 13: The 10th bi-annual delegate meeting of Dibruagrh district committee of All Assam Gorkha Students’ Union (AAGSU) was held recently at the auditorium of Oil & Gas Employees Union (OGEU), Duliajan. As part of the programme, in the morning cleanness drive was held and swahid tarpan was done by Deepok Newar, general secretary of Dibrugarh district unit of AAGSU. The delegate meeting was chaired by Bishnu Chetry, president of Dibrugarh district committee of AAGSU. It was iugurated by Jayanta Rosaily, advisor of AGGSU’s district committee and welcome speech was given by Dibakar Sarmah, president of upper Assam region of AAGSU. Ajoy Ale and Santosh Limbu were elected as president and general secretary respectively of a 31-member new committee for the next two years. Almost 200 delegates from 10 anchalik committees along with the delegates of schools and colleges attended the delegate meeting. This was stated in a prèss communiqué by Bishnu Chetry, president of Dibrugarh district committee of AAGSU.
