AAI to organize public hearing

Dibrugarh, Dec 13: The Airport Authority of India (AAI) for receiving the necessary environment clearance certificate to carry out the construction of runway length , link taxi way and other additiol  structural works  at Dibrugarh Airport, has proposed to  organize a public hearing at Mohanbari Gaon Panchayat Auditorium on December 28 from 12 pm.

In a press communiqué, the member secretary of Assam Pollution Control Board (APCB) informed that through the aforesaid public hearing, the public, established residents, non-governmental organizations (NGO), environmental conservationists and workers and  local inhabitants who are likely to get affected or fall victim due to the proposed scheme, people of adjoining areas, local tendering authorities and other related parties  can  place their grievances, opinion, view, suggestion and memorandum by attending the slated public hearing.
