AAKJSU demands ST status to six communities

PATHSALA, July 21: All Assam Kalita Jagosti Students’ Union (AAKJSU)  president Anupal Duta Pathak said that on August 15 the government must declare ST status to all six communities and if the government failed to do so then the AAKJSU would gear up for  Dispur gherao programme with all organizations of the six communities. AAKJSU president Pathak thanked MP Ramen Deka and MLA Ramendra rayan Kalita for taking up this demand in the assembly and in the Parliament. He also urged all Kalita community MLAs to raise the issue in the assembly.
