Dibrugarh, Sept 1: The 29th central executive committee meeting of All Assam Mottock Yuba Chattra Sanmilan (AAMYCS) was held at Jata College Auditorium at Borguri in Tinsukia recently. More than 1,500 representatives of district and regiol committees from Dibrugarh , Tinsukia, Sibsagar and Lakhimpur took part in the meeting which was held under the chairmanship of president Udat Shankar Mohan, a press release stated.
The representatives’ meeting started off with the iugural address of former president of AAMYCS, Dilip Bora. It was attended by the advisory board members from the central committee like Mintu Borpatro Gohain and Jatin Dihingia and other officials of the committee.
In the meeting, 14 important resolutions were adopted, including the decision of Ranjit Gohain taking over the responsibility of general secretary and the decision to acknowledge the contribution of any person towards the Mottock community by awarding him or her with the Bengmora Sanmanvay Bota on the foundation day every year.
The meeting not only sacked general secretary Satyajit Baruah from his post on charges of his total iction towards strengthening the organizatiol set-up but also cancelled Baruah’s primary membership. The meeting further cautioned the members not to make any liaison with the outgoing secretary.
