AAP sets foot in galand

Dimapur, Feb 9: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) recently launched its youth wing in galand as a part of its tion-wide expansion plans.

Announcing the launch at Hotel Saramati here, AAP’s tiol executive member and North East observer Habung Payeng disclosed that the party was also planning to launch its student and women wings in the state soon.

Payeng, who himself hails from Aruchal Pradesh, added that the party aims to bring change in the corrupted system in galand and across the country.

Payeng who also contested for MP on AAP’s ticket in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, said the people of galand were fed up with the present system of governce, and therefore, the AAP has stepped in with the aim of freeing the state from corruption starting from the grassroots level.

The AAP’s youth wing preparatory committee members include— Imti Jamir as president, Peto Swu (i/c Kohima and Zunheboto) and Imlinochet (spokesperson and i/c Mokokchung) as vice president along with five general secretaries and two joint secretaries.

The AAP galand youth wing district committees have also been set up in all the 11 districts with a president and vice president. (ANI)
