AAPBSU bandh declared illegal

Itagar, March 1: The Capital Complex district magistrate has declared the proposed 24-hour Capital bandh by All Aruchal Pradesh Border Students Union (AAPBSU) on March 4 next as illegal.

In an executive order under the Aruchal Pradesh un-lawful activities (Prevention Act) 2014, the Capital DC Mige Kamki today directed the organization to refrain, desist from enforcing the proposed bandh by calling it off.

The order further stated that violators would be viewed seriously and pel action would be taken as per law.

Kamki further said that any damage or destruction to public or private properties would be recovered from the bandh callers, if proposed bandh call is not called off.

The DM pointed out that bandh calls cause untold misery and hardship to the suffering patients, students and business community in particular and the public at large and such bandh calls in the state capital have led to un-pleasant law & order situation resulting in loss of life and property in the recent past.
