Assam suffer innings defeat in CK Nayudu Cricket tournament

GUWAHATI: Assam suffered one innings and 28 runs defeat against Madhya Pradesh in the CK Nayudu Cricket tournament at Silchar today. Assam, after following on, were 60/4 at stumps on day III yesterday. Opener Biplab Saikia (70) played good knocks today but except Nipon Deka (44) no other batsmen were able to give him good support. Host finally bowled out 156 runs in the second innings. Earlier in reply to Madhya Pradesh first innings total 401 Assam were bowled out 217 in the first innings yesterday.
