AASU announces candidates for students' union poll

DEMOW, September 6: The students’ union election of Demow College will be held on September 11 for the year 2015-16 in Demow College.

The Demow Regiol Students’ Union has announced their candidates for different posts. For president post, Bikash Bhuyan has been nomited, Bhoirab Jyoti  Borah for vice-president, for general secretary post Debojit Gogoi, for assistant secretary  post Deb Kumar Borbarua, for magazine secretary post Niharika Chetia, for cultural secretary post Sikhamoni Gogoi, for Boys’ Common Room secretary post Nitul Borah and for Girls’ Common Room secretary  post Popi Konwar has been nomited.

On the other hand, Debating and Literature secretary Pragyashree Phukan won the Students’ Union election of Demow College for the year 2015-16 uncontested.
