AASU leader expelled in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT (Dhekial), April 6: The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU), Ghiladhari regiol committee secretary was expelled on Wednesday for allegedly involvement in illegal activities.  In a press release, the president of  Ghiladhari Regiol Students’ Union, Kushal Kakoti said that the secretary of the organization, Akash Tani was expelled for allegedly being involved in anti-AASU activities. In the same statement he said that the assistant general secretary Suraj Saikia would take charge as secretary in-charge. In this regard an executive meeting would be called on April 9 and he appealed to all members to be present in the executive meeting.
