AASU Morigaon committee discusses various problems

MORIGAON, Feb 25: The new body of All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) Morigaon district committee thoroughly discussed various burning problems of Morigaon district on Saturday.

The new body was formed recently at the Charaibahi district conference at Gandhi Bhavan. The new body discussed the erosion problem and the pathetic condition of various roads of the district. The body also decided to take up series of agitation for  revival of the paper mill. Besides, the new executive body decided to hold torchlight rally against illegal sale of liquor, and drugs and gambling in the district.

In a press meet, Himanghsu Mahanta, president and Dipul Kr. th, secretary, told media persons that the organization would stage continuous  agitation if their demands were not fulfilled.
