GUWAHATI: A delegation of AASU and NESO on Thursday left for Tripura to take stock of health condition of the anti-Citizenship Bill protestors who were injured during the police firing and atrocities on them on January 8. The protestors took out a massive rally in Agartala during the NE bandh call by NESO on January 8 in protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2019. Over 1800 protestors sustained injuries due to police atrocities and firing. More than 600 protestors sustained bullter injuries and condition of 22 of them are stated to be critical.
