AASU organises awareness meet on NRC update at Gaurisagar

GAURISAGAR, April 24: The Gaurisagar regiol unit of AASU organized an awareness meeting on the NRC update exercise at Gaurisagar ASTC bus stand complex on April 22. The meeting was conducted by Mahantajit Das, adviser, AASU, Gaurisagar regiol unit. Govin Phukan, secretary, AASU, Sivasagar district committee also spoke on the subject. At the meeting, social workers Baloram Borah, Suresh Borah and Prodip Das, president, Magarahat Gaon Panchayat emphasized on the importance of the NRC update exercise and urged the AASU workers to organize more such awareness programmes.
