AASU protests in Golaghat against price hike

Golaghat , May 2: Activists of All Assam Students’ Union Golaghat District Unit on Monday staged a sit-in in Golaghat protesting against continuous price rise of essential commodities.

Golaghat District Students’ Union leaders and members raised slogans against the Central Government and State Government for their failure in controlling continuous hike in prices of essential goods. The protesters also strongly criticized the role of the Food and Civil Supplies Department under the State Government for not taking fruitful measures to control price rise.
