AAU bags Best Centre award at Research Conclave

JORHAT, March 23: Assam Agricultural University (AAU) has bagged the Best Centre award at the Research Conclave, IIT Guwahati, held recently. 
The students of AAU received the award from Dr. Gautam Biswas, Director, IIT Guwahati on behalf of the university. Research Conclave is organized under the banner of Students Academic Board (SAB) of Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IITG) and its main objective is to nurture the young minds towards research, innovation and entrepreneurship. Apart from winning the  best centre award, Udit ndan Mishra, Ranima Mishra, Priyam Sharma, Pompi Deka, Murcha Malakar, Pallavi Devi, Afsa Rehman, Gargee Baruah, Panthoi Changtham and Dr. Rinumoni Buragohain of Assam agricultural University were awarded with best posters among 400 participants in the category of Life sciences and Social Sciences.
 About 500 students from different institutions like JNU, IITG and JB College and students from Bhutan participated in the Research Conclave. The winners of the ‘Best Poster’ award received a certificate along with cash award and a trophy. AAU was selected as best centre among many universities of the country due to its excellent research, presentation and scientific quality and structure.
